I’m trying to keep up with myself! Someone recently brought it to my attention that I’m always on go. I’ve been that way since as long as I can remember. So with my monthly roundups, I’ll attempt to document my most exciting happenings!

Words That I Needed
I started the month off, with a few wise words from a friend. I believe that I’m not the only one who needed to hear these words, so I’ll share them here with you as well.
Birfdayyyy Wishes ft. Jas
I was so glad that I had the chance to reconnect with new and old friends at Jasmyn’s Bday party. WE ARE GETTING OLD. Haha. All we wanted to do was chat and eat, nothing else. We started the night at the Sundial (boujee af) and then headed over to South City Kitchen – Buckhead (boujee too). Lol nonetheless, dinner and drinks featured lots of laughs and updates. So no complaints! I’ll miss you Jas!
A Little 5 Points Stroll
Gals and guys, I contemplated making this experience a full post because I had the best time catching up with my college friend, Wen. I met Wen during a school-sponsored service trip, and we’d lost touch for a while. BUT, we’ve found our way back to each other. Haha. Our catch-up featured lots of pictures and laughs. The best part for me was when we went to Rag-O-Rama (a famous thrift store) and had a “makeover” challenge. I challenged when to find me at least 3 new outfits in 30 minutes, and I’d do the same for her. What we came out with were cute and fun little outfits. Check out some of our pics from our stroll in L5P.
Don’t Mess with TeXaS
At one point I thought I really wanted to move to Austin, Texas. I mean people were raving, hooting and hollering about ATX, so I really wanted to go. Apparently all the tech companies and young people were moving there in masses. And I mean come on. With events like South by Southwest, and Austin City Limits, who wouldn’t want to be in the mix?
Well, after visiting all I can really say is, Austin was the biscuit, but I was not the gravy. Overall I think it was a decent run, and you can definitely knock out the major touristy spots in just three days or a weekend. You’ll be full, tired and natured out. Oh, one quick thing. We may or may not have seen Tom Brady, so there’s that. LOL 🤷
Here are all of the notable spots we visited!
Cocktail Hour with a Sparkle of Joy
So last year I did something called, Startup Bus. It featured an array of awesome women and non-gender conforming individuals. The women on my team were absolutely amazing, and this month I had the opportunity to reconnect with one of them! Julia, who is literally so awesome invited me to a fancy-schmancy Ponce City rooftop shindig. It was the cutest little event, and I loved that I had the chance to see her in her element. Thank you Julia!! Can’t wait to catch up again <3
Thanksgiving with the Fam Bam
Food, UNO, and Memories. What more can you ask for? I loved catching up with my family and seeing the faces of some that I don’t get to see as often. Our annual UNO game was what you would expect: intense, featuring lots of trash talk, and a bit of cheating. LOL. I won one game with my fire strategy, and I’m so glad I did. I swear that game lasted about 30 min because of everyone’s savagery (yea I’m talking about card swapping and that sneaky little rule where you can make people draw an endless amount of cards!)
Family Feuddddddd!
One of the marketing teams at my company has an annual Family Feud game to ring in the holiday season. This year was no different! The most debated category: “Christmas Football Games” the least debated category: “Things that Kanye Would Say He’s Thankful For.” Haha, it was totes fun, it also featured lots of tasty treats, so I have no complaints what so ever.
