10 | Give Back More Than You Take…
As you might have noticed, a lot of the activities on this unique activities list involve pouring into yourself or making yourself feel good. After you’ve gotten to a place where you feel healthy and balanced, why not spread that joy?
The awesome folks at Good Deeds Day put together an amazing list of virtual volunteer activities that we can all do. You can view some of my favorite ones below.
At-Home Volunteer Initiatives
- Make a donation to vetted Coronavirus Charity Funds.
- Help support the Crisis Text Line as a Volunteer Crisis Counselor.
- Sign up to teach a virtual class about something you love.
- Check-in on your elderly neighbors and also participate in the Adopt a Senior initiative.
- Proofread and edited books for people with reading disabilities.
- Become a mentor and give career advice to students.
- Write a letter to local Atlanta Healthcare Providers or to Healthcare Providers Nationwide.
- Lend your professional talents to a good cause!
- Transcribe historical documents for the Smithsonian.
